Originally conceived in 1947 for the architect Le Corbusier, the Forestière jacket takes its cues from the traditional French gamekeeper’s coat. With its distinctive mandarin collar and utilitarian pockets, it has long been a favourite of the Left Bank intelligentsia and the free-thinking bobo set, prized for its balance of function and understated elegance.
Our version is cut from an 12oz Italian canapa fabric. Faithful to the spirit of the original, we have refined the silhouette for a cleaner, more contemporary line, while retaining the jacket’s practical detailing: three generous patch-and-flap pockets, two internal pockets, and adjustable cuffs.
