Adawat'n Tuareg Doo Ring

Doo means "sunlight" in the indigenous language of North Africa.

The radiating pattern across the top is a motif symbolizing light rising from the desert horizon.

This model recreates the traditional silversmithing and engraving culture passed down by the Touareg people into a modern ring. The light-reminiscent pattern in the center of the top is created using traditional engraving techniques, carving each line with a thin chisel. The shadows created evoke the power of the sun and the tranquility of the desert, and the ring takes on a rich expression with each light that hits it. The ring's form is slim, yet comfortable to wear.
