Agolid means "island" in the indigenous language of North Africa.
Centered around a distinctive top shape split into two, this ring reimagines the Touareg culture of silversmithing and engraving as a modern motif.
The geometric pattern engraved on the top is based on the hand-carving techniques passed down through generations of Touareg artisans. The lines carved with a fine chisel change shade depending on the light, exuding a quiet strength rooted in desert craftsmanship.
The space running down the center is a symbolic detail, evoking the idea of two islands existing at a distance. The balance between the weightiness of the traditional pattern and the modern white space creates an appearance that exudes both simplicity and sophistication. The moderate thickness of the silver envelops the finger, emanating a strong presence despite its minimalist design.
The design is easy to wear on its own or layered with other rings.
Agolid combines the beauty of silverwork, rooted in the Tuareg craft culture, with a modern design language.
