This shirt jacket is designed with the motif of a 1940s US Navy utility jacket.
The material is an original herringbone pattern woven at high density on a shuttle loom.
Ithas a boxy silhouette with a roomy body width, and has been updated with tabs at the sides of the hem to allow for adjustment of the silhouette.
Like the original, the chest has a large gusseted flap pocket positioned slightly lower, and has a two-layer structure that allows access from the side.
This versatile jacket can be worn as an outer layer in early autumn and as an inner layer in winter, allowing you to enjoy the changes that occur over time.
A denim version is also available on a separate page.
