This short jacket is designed with the image of a jacket worn by coal miners in the early 1900s as its inspiration. It is made from
10oz chambray fabric with a brushed finish, created by alternating indigo and ecru threads, similar to those used in 1950s workwear .
The front has a simple design with a single pocket on the left.
Tucks have been added not only to the back but also to the front to create an overall rounded silhouette.

The neckline has a downward slope in the front, referencing jackets of that era, and it has a small collar and tuck buttons that are one size smaller than usual.
There are slits at the sides and a slide buckle on the waistband so that the waist silhouette can be changed.
This jacket blends details from American and European workwear.
A different fabric version, 11.5oz selvedge denim with nep yarn in the weft, is also available on a separate page.
